thanks to all on a tremendous day of beauty....
...we are already planning for next year!

Between days of beauty the shelter takes donations all year long
if you have questions about what they need,

there is a lot on the corner of belmont and beverly.....
this is where to park...its a fire station
enter from belmont....if you have stuff to drop off
you can park in front and repark in this lot....OK!

what to bring

****first of all bring good vibes and a posative attitude...!

makeup artists...and hair stylists
treat this like any job ...bring your kit and be prepared to work on all types of women...

we have many donations to leave with the women so they can re-create their new looks...
you can help them pick out makeup and skin care to keep

wardrobe...we have a seamstress comming to make small alterations but bring
a kit to sew on buttons etc...if you can.......

we will have lunch and drinks and snacks throuout the day...!

I am looking forward to meeting all you and seeing all the beauty we create!!!!!

Lunch is being catered by M cafe and Chaya !!! so good and good for you!

we will have breakfast pasteries and bagles and coffee in the morning...!

we have plenty of water and IZZy soda!!!

Hi All....we are kicking off the clothing donation and here is how it works

donations of gently used and new clothes will be taken April 26 and 27
Saturday and Sunday in the parking lot of Smuggler

1715 North Gower ...90028 (just north of Hollywood blvd on the west
side of the street) It is a brick building with an ivy covered gate

all day from 9am to 6pm

if you are dropping at the temple...make very sure that each bag or
box has the name ROZ on it...


Everyday these items will be picked up and taken to the
storage/sorting garage in Silverlake.......

Big Sunday 2008 is here!

Hello everyone...welcome to this years blog *****May 4th is this years event and we are all very excited. Again we are teaming up with stylists, hair and makeup artists to give a day of beauty to some very deserving women at the Good Shepherd shelter...in addition to the wardrobe, makeovers and photos... this year we are introducing a tea party to celebrate the day!!!!!

the clothing drive for gently used and new clothes is about to begin........check in for details soon.

we need plenty of help on the day and also BEFORE the event to pick up clothes organize and deliver things
and generally be of assistance so please send this blog to your friends that may want to help before the event too!!!
